Unfortunately still "changing bandwidth" and "crashing firmware" :-(
Should I post the complete output of the "wireless script" here or is the syslog-info above sufficient?

Ok, I tried a fixed channel (though the router recommends "auto") and first thought it would work, but it doesn't. So I switched the router setting back to "auto". Besides, OS X and Windows don't bother about "auto" at all... ;-)
So what else can I/we do?

The router is set "auto".
