reason for asking is i am fairly novice and thinking i will be installing kubuntu on my laptop and use UKUU with it, since it costs money i would like to know if i would have any real world benefits of always installing the latest linux kernel on the laptop?

Session Save & Restore on Cinnamon

yo!

Is there any way to save the position / workspace and possibly state of all of my open programs so that when I restart I can restore everything to exactly where it was before without having to reopen and reposition everything?
