Re: Making VLC the default player.
i know this issue, kinda annoyed me a lot of times too. right-click association doesn't work for me either. maybe you'd have to do it in admin mode? worth a try.

Re: Securing my wireless network
it means you can access your router configuration from every OS, as long as you have a browser that is, all you need is the ip-address of your router. you should be able to connect to your wpa2 router in mint.
this is more of a 'do i need windows to configure my router' kind of thread.

Re: New Slogan?
My personal favorite: "What Ubuntu Should have Been." -Robin personally, i don't think, we should use a slogan like this. pointing at other distros, especially ubuntu, from which, as far as i know, mint takes a lot of code from, seems disrespectful to all the hard workers at the ubuntu co...

Re: Securing my wireless network

Re: Small presentation video on first startup
well, i really enjoyed that 'pardus' video. always like it, when pro's take their time to work on a open source project. my opinion: pro: - everyone likes short movies full of special effects :) - professional polish / could make distro look more competitive to windows (for the normal home user, who...
