Re: SSD overheating

Just to say that in general i find my machines run hotter under Linux Mint than they do under windows. It seems to vary as to why and when, but overall yes Linux Mint runs a bit hotter (sometimes quite a bit). I use extra external fans to increase the airflow to help keep temps ok. thank you so muc...

So i thought it'll be after the question whether or not i want to have dualboot. It wasn't, so it just chose the unpartitioned space. Also i think that's the better outcome...

Re: SSD overheating

there's a chance that gui is wrong in the sense that it shows temp in F, but says it's C, and then because if that, calculates F based on the "value in C". It might be higher by like 4 degrees or so, and since I don't have a thermometer, I can't check it. I might be overreacting because SSD hitting ...

SSD overheating

I've recently installed Linux Mint 18 hddtemp and sensors say temperature is around 35-48 usually, but disks application tells me 94. I wouldn't worry about it, but I booted back into windows and it seems to be way cooler, ssd-z shows temperature of 44 degrees (everything in Celsius). It's a dual bo...
