Hi
you should change your local domain to different one - like domain.mylocal instead of .local
better solution would be to take a subdomain of an official domain you own e.g. internal.officialdomain
see

Re: Copying a directory from one PC to another
To install only some fonts like Arial or Times New Roman, I found a simpler solution: Call up an old document with this font, delete the text to a "new line" and then save it as a template with the correct name - e.g. "Arial" under Libre Writer. But I'm still interested in how t...

Re: Mounting a new /home/username

Re: hplip doesn't accept my user password
Hi,
I had the same problem on all LM19 installs - my workaround was to give the root user a password (same as mine) by:
sudo passwd root
then the hplip install works

Re: RTL88x2BU v5.2.4.1 22719 Mint 19
I have converted from Windows 10 and have this WiFi adapter that worked fine in Windows 10 but I cannot seem to get it to work in Mint. I am wired for the time being but need the wireless. I've read through a lot of the posts but none seemed to fix this issue. Any ideas would be appreciated. daniel...

Re: Is it possible to clone LinuxMint to use in another machine (like Ghost in Windows)
Hi,
You can do that with clonezilla (boot stick) https://clonezilla.org/
Or with timeshift - but there you'll have to setup lm bevor restoring on the new machine

Did you delete the .steam folder in your home dir (its hidden - so check the show hidden button in nemo) ?
If not I'll do that and then try reinstall
