I'm adding this reply for my own reference as well as for anyone else that uses yakuake and stumbles upon this post while searching... While the above fix works for getting yakuake working on Mint 19.0, if you upgrade to 19.1 a new problem arises where the unrolled terminal window isn't drawn correc...

Hey, since I found this thread on Google after having the same issue, I wanted to share that I was able to fix Yakuake by running:

Code: Select all

sudo apt install libkf5globalaccel-bin
apparently it's a dependency that wasn't originally met.

Is there any harm in not doing this? I've never consciously run virtualbox yet, however, is it needed for any background tasks, system running, whatever?
