Hi, I have two GPU's in my system a NVidia a GTX1060 driving 3 monitors and a GTX750Ti driving another 3, using the os from Redmond which must not be named ;) this works just fine 6 monitors working together as one huge desktop. But using linux mint, the most I can do is to get the 3 additional scre...

Re: Linux Mint 18.3 crashes during boot

There is no issue there. All that the article says is that you need an appropriate kernel if you use the proprietary drivers, which is nothing other than commonsense. The article says: Driver installation is the tricky part. Installing the card itself was flawless, and the system recognized it fine...

Re: Linux Mint 18.3 crashes during boot

It seams not so long ago linux mint had major issues with the 1060 card: https://delightlylinux.wordpress.com/20 ... mint-18-1/
Was that resolved in the mean time or is that the root of my problems?

Cheers

Re: Dolphin is crashing when i try to access a samba share on mint 18.3

The samba share is a windows PC no special configuration there just used the wizard of win 7.
On the Linux side i havn't configured anything, just entered smb://192.168.123.100/Share into the addersbar of dolphin, than it asked for login credentials, which i provided and than it crashed.

Re: Advanced graphical process manager?

I have tried ksysguard already its better system monitor but not even close to the functionality of the windows tools. CLI tools don't allow me to quickly view what different processes are doing, having to type commands is inherently slower than just clicking a few things, especially if one has to a...

Advanced graphical process manager?

Hello, I'm desperately looking for a tool which would have a similar functionality to the windows tool "task info" or "process hacker". The only one i came even close was https://github.com/wolfc01/procexp but its nit complete and is still missing many features and is not even close to be as user fr...
