Is there anyone out there that has setup Linux Mint as a Server, web server, DNS, FTP or anything that resembles a server. I have an IBM R50 w/Intel 2200BG. It works just swimmingly under Gnome but under KDE the OS can see everything, hardware, but it just doesn't want to hookup. What am I missing. Has anybody been able to use Mac fonts on their Mint machine? I have been getting into doing pre-press work for a few people in my area and it would be nice to use them in Mint. Maybe Mint won't have some of the incompatibility problems with some of the printers that Macs have with some fonts.

What I did to finally get a good and stable install of Google Earth was to download the .bin from Google and install it through the console. It was fast and quite simple to do and, of course, very stable.
