Thunar still seems to be hardcoded to use gksu when right-click on a folder and select "open as root".
Solution was to symlink gksu -> pkexec in /usr/bin.
But I am sure there are better solutions...

Basically you run "swapon --show" and exclude everything that has a type of "file", eg.

Gave the XFCE version a whirl (in a VirtualBox running on top of 18.3). Neat. Like it. Some Icons need getting used to, but hey. One thing however: in TimeShift, the users' homes are excluded - so far, so good. But then wouldn't it make sense to exclude other files by default as well, namely /swapfi...
