Battle for Wesnoth installieren

Make sure your D2SPEM Unity Shortcut Reads Something Like this:
C:\Program Files\Diablo II\PlugY.exe -Direct -Txt
Wie starte ich das mit Wine?

Vielen Dank!!!

In my installation it's here:
/home/moem/.wine/drive_c
Keep in mind that it's a simulated c: drive, as there is no such thing in Linux.
Thank you very much!

WINE: Where is c:?

If I try to run a install.exe or setup.exe with WINE, it seems that there's no problem to install something on c:\.
But where to find the c:\-path in linux?

Thank You very much!

Re: uninstall programms, restore previous system-state?

Hallo Karl, I have installed Timeshift since the first days I have installed Linux. But it looks like I have never made an security copy of the system! And in Synaptic the entries stop in Feb 2019! Probably I haven't installed any real package When I enter ls /var/lib/dpkg/info/ -ltc|more in the ter...

uninstall programms, restore previous system-state?

I have recently (yesterday) installed an amount of application. Now my system is not as fast anymore as I think it should be. Is there a possibility to easily uninstall everything of the last 24 hours? I am happy to be able to see the new programs via the terminal, but the command sudo apt-get remov...

Thank you so very much for your super answer phd21!!! And to gm10: The word "annonce" indeed is French. (or also German, I'm from Germany) I wanted to say "start an advertisement" of course. Sorry, there wasn't shown a writing mistake when I wrote "announce" and therefore I didn't think about it cle...

Thank you for your answer.
I am quite sure that when I was on windows I had a program which changed my internet IP-address with just a single click on a button.

No access to BIOS after installing Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon on an Acer Aspire E 15

Hi,

I have installed Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon on my Laptop (Acer Aspire E 15). Now I am not able to enter BIOS anymore by pressing F2 when starting!
Only GRUB will show up.
Maybe it could also be an Acer-produced problem. But maybe not.
I have no idea.
Thank you very much!

install win 8 via "winre.wim" or "install.wim" or something else from the "push button reset" or "recovery" partition

Hello, I have installed Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon on my Acer Aspire E 15. But now I would like to do a factory reset. By pressing Alt + F10 on reboot I do not get into the recovery menu anymore. Maybe because it needs an installed windows. At least somebody told me that. The "Push Button Reset" parti...

Re: wireless connection to a LG tv (Mint 18.3 Cinnamon)

There doesn't seem to be any decent open source implementations of this I can see. The only one I can find is miraclecast, and it doesn't seem finished. I can't find any instance of it working properly for anyone. Okay. It is a pity. But thank you very much!!! Looks like I have to travel with a HDM...

wireless connection to a LG tv (Mint 18.3 Cinnamon)

Hi, Unfortunately, I am not making any progress in connecting a LG TV with my laptop (Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon (Acer Aspire E 15)). It would work with the cable. But I also want to have it wireless. Looked a lot around and it seems that I am probably leaking to much experience with Linux at all! Any...
