So, I'v had 19.1 cinnamon on my machine for about a week. Can't get updates now. Just got a new lower end laptop today. Running 18 on it. Any advice on making things more lightweight? I only plan to use it for word processing and browsing. Already uninstalled all the programs I'm not going to use. Any thoughts on what else to do? Thanks!

I have the game on steam. I just installed steam through play on linux and then installed oblivion through that steam. I'm afraid I can't help you if you don't have it through steam.

Yes. The setup options use several terms, or abbreviations that I have no idea what they mean. Perhaps I can't fully use timeshift because I'm running it in a vm? I'm not a tech guy.
