pbear, I have not forgotten about you, I think I need a lesson on who/what ROOT is USER is and ADMINISTRATOR is, how does a clean install of Mint become ROOT, but a USER has to be named, and if you become ADMIN you would think it allow you to root and user?

I see what he means, the choice of portrait and landscape is default set as portrait, paper size and orientation are greyed out.
LeafPad default settings, but no way to change them? :?:

Hi,

I have been in your shoes before. I use Timeshift. If my Mint 19.2 goes south, I have a backup stored on a separate SSD. I reload Mint from the LiveCD then activate Timeshift and restore it back to where I was before things went south.

Edit: forgot to mention that my printer would not print when the printer claimed that one of the colors was empty even when I wanted to print black and white only.
I have always had that particular issue with Epson's printers. Not sure about HP, but I guess I am going to find out!

I am getting a broken package(s) message when I try to install the kernel 4.15.0-64.73
I opened Package manager to try and locate the broken package and synaptic manager did not report any.

Rebooted....

Where do I find the device? I am on Ethernet now, does the wi-fi kick in when Ethernet is disabled?
