@gm10, this item isn't available after I run the dconf reset . I never said it would be. I said you should add the clock applet yourself. ;) But if you want to reset the panel, you can just right click it to reset it, or mate-panel --reset from a command line. That has the advantage that it'll load...

This did not work for me. The clock item still missing from my dconf-editor . Yes it works, but it won't be called that, new items are numbered object_0 and so on. @gm10, this item isn't available after I run the dconf reset . I tried another possible solution... [SOLVED] How restore/reset dconf-editor keys

After upgrading to Mint Mate 19.2, my clock-applet changed. I tried to fix it as it was before (with a custom format) but I couldn't. So i opened the dconf-editor, went to org>mate>panel>objects and clicked on Reset keys button... Now if a go to org>mate>panel>objects it's missing the clock option. ...
