Re: Firefox freezes my computer

Hi, ismail783. What is the issue which you need to solve? Is the issue what the title of this old thread suggests? That Firefox freezes the computer? Or is the issue what your apt-cache output suggests? That the installed Firefox version is 67.0.4, although Ubuntu is already deploying 68.0? In case...

Re: Keyboard Shortcut for switching between multiple monitor

Try making this into a script #!/bin/bash if [[ $(xrandr --verbose | sed -n '/ connected primary/p' | sed 's/ connected.*//') = "VGA1" ]] then xrandr --output HDMI1 --primary else xrandr --output VGA1 --primary fi Every time you run it, it should toggle from your VGA to your HDMI Sorry if it doesn'...

Is it being over hyped or there is something into it? I am asking this because there is ...

Re: Google drive integration with Nemo

I am using Linux Mint 19 (Cinnamon). Nemo File Manager.
  • Go to Online Accounts
  • Log in to google.
You do not need to install any apps. Google Drive will be automatically integrated with Nemo
You will also find a Google Drive icon on Desktop.

I didn't come here looking for Stallman's grand dream, I came here looking for my wet dream, which has been met. Re: xdotool not minimizing the terminal windows invoked by shortcut

From https://askubuntu.com/a/962068/598062, I took suggestion and added

Code: Select all

sleep .1
at the top

So, the script looks like

Code: Select all

#!/bin/bash
sleep .1
xdotool getactivewindow windowminimize
.....
It is working now. Please let me know if you find a better solution.

Re: xdotool not minimizing the terminal windows invoked by shortcut
