Re: NVIDIA Drivers Support LM 19 and LMDE 3

Does anyone actually have the same issue though, you know when trying to run any x86 program in x86_64 linux or is it just me?

But I decided not to. Wouldn't want to crash the website with hundreds of requests.

[SOLVED] How to save unknown files using wget

But how do we save the unknown file types using wget? I was trying to download some Far Cry 4 mod tools and it wasn't compressed so there were a lot of individual files and directories, the best I've found on the internet is: wget -m -A * -pk -e robots=off http://svn.gib.me/public/dunia2/ It created...

Re: NVIDIA Drivers Support LM 19 and LMDE 3

Well, I can't really run Counter-Strike-Source Linux x86 in Linux Mint 18.3 amd64 nor Half-Life. But I can run x86 windows programs in wine (unlike LM 19) and I can also run games like Limbo x86 and SteamWorld Dig x86 Linux. However I can't run these in Linux Mint 19, is it because of the nvidia-dri...

Linux Mint 19/LMDE3 Software Manger reviews and ratings cache through Proxy

Ever since Linux Mint 19 there's this weird generating cache feature that acquires ratings and reviews that needs a direct connection, I can no longer use just an apt.conf file like LM 18.3. This can be skipped by searching for programs, but there will be no ratings or reviews visible. The question ...

Re: [EDIT NOT SOLVED] Linux Mint 19 Software Manager Issues

The real issue is ever since Linux Mint 19 there's this weird generating cache feature that acquires ratings and reviews that needs a direct connection, I can no longer use just an apt.conf file like LM 18.3. The way I skipped it is by searching for programs, I now recall. So the new question is how...

Re: OpenTTD downloaded files location?

Thank-you, phd21 and richyrich for solving this post! :)

The OpenTTD downloaded content is stored in the directory:

/home/user/.local/share/openttd/content_download

Edit, to be honest those posts were a bit short of amazing I just messed around in nemo to find the above location.

[SOLVED] OpenTTD downloaded files location?

Does anyone know where (the directory path) OpenTTD downloads the base graphics, music and sounds. Because downloading them requires a direct connection to the internet, however, I only have regular internet access on a network that requires proxy authentication.

[SOLVED] How to get a Linux Mint Community Registration Code in Linux Mint 19

"To get a registration code connect to the chatroom (From within Linux Mint, launch Menu->Welcome Screen and click on Chat Room), introduce yourself and ask for a registration code."

There seems to be no chatroom function on the new Welcome Screen.
