maybe at some point, right now however, i can just deal lol i mean i keep my phone next to me at the pc anyways so whats the difference... for right now anyways :P

update: i have reinstalled the system as my computer was getting slower and slower over time of use. seems the driver i had for this device was causing all sorts of issue. as of right now i have NO wifi adapter driver and am using tethering from my phone as a wired connection which is working flawle...

@fabien this may have been the case as i went away from firefox and switched to vivaldi and everything worked out fine. i understand its not abnormal for some cores to reach 100, but not at the rate i was dealing with lol in any case, im calling this solved as i dont really like firefox anyways, and...

thanks for all the great suggestions, switching to vivaldi has, from what i can tell, straightened things out. its not perfect but its much better. this is of course after 20 mins of testing however... but the cores arent fluctuating like they were before on the system monitor. now they hover around...

The image shows network activity when all the cores are in use (the left part of the chart). If you repeat the same showing processes with the list sorted by cpu descending, you can see the processes using the most cpu. Processes show a totally different story. Processes say cinnamon is the highest...
