Re: Mouse scrolling uncontrollably
Don't mean to hijack the thread, just wanted to say I get similar occurances. It seems to be mouse and keyboard related for me. Similar that all the sudden everything races uncontrollably. Doesn't happen all that often, thought it was just cause my laptop is a cheapy. Rapid fire keystrokes that can'...

Re: is there any Mac OS X Leopard or Windows Vista themes still?
Hey, just wanted to add for anyone that may care, some Boomerang themes have a built in start button on the panel, and if you wanted to just use your own stock/custom as I do you just edit out a little code in the Cinnamon.css. e.g... Windows Vista: #panelLeft .applet-box:first-child { background: u...

Re: is there any Mac OS X Leopard or Windows Vista themes still?
Elbullazul's Boomerang themes work great for me and I'm always on the latest Mint Cinn. Admittedly, most of the recent work he's done on them is geared toward gtk4, and the Cinn themes are a little old, but they're fine AFAIC. Just follow whatever theme to the github page, click the green (code) but...

Re: Please suggest some good Cinnamon GTK themes
Gradient-blue.. This is one of the most tasteful themes I've seen, I use it quite a bit. It's a little skeumorphic, but it's quite neutral.. This is the link for the theme, I only use the gtk from it. The alternate Cinnamon theme in the next link is a better match.. https://www.pling.com/p/1185760/ ...

Re: Original Ubuntu 22.04 PPA for PipeWire
Sorry, I should have stated before that libopus0 1.4-1 is right there in the pipewire-debian-pipewire-upstream-jammy ppa.
I have Romeo enabled cause I don't mind test/cutting edge packages. Clem did say in blog that Romeo is there to use now for anyone that prefers to try.

Re: Pipewire update removes important dependencies
@hynkelz I don't know if this is helpful to you or not, but just wanted to jump in and say that I also use the pipewire-debian/pipewire-upstream ppa, and "JamesDSP for Linux" is another good option for audio control (if you're not aware of it already). It works great, I love it. No problem...

So, just to be clear, you're just concerning yourself with Cinnamon but not gtk? I wish you all the luck, more options are always welcome for tweaking appearance.

Re: Looking for a theme
I always liked Void too. Divo being the version that works nowadays. Several years ago I had a bunch of Oomox themes up on opendesktop.org to fill the gap of some themes that were incomplete for one reason or another. Here's a link to a matching Void/Divo (gtk/metacity) theme for anyone that's inter...

Re: Pulseaudio-Equalizer installed but does not show up
Go here https://github.com/Drugwash2/Equalizer2
That's Drugwash2's github page for Equalizer2. Just follow the instructions there. Use the LADSPA version. It's the most straightforward way of getting you to equalizer nirvana. I use pipewire myself now, but it worked splendidly when I used it!

Re: Changing the mouse pointer theme doesn't change it for Qt apps in LM21.1 Beta
Try this if you want.. Open /usr/share/icons as root, copy your mouse pointer theme into it, while still in there open (default) folder, edit index.theme, inherits=(your mouse pointer name), save, then change your mouse pointer in themes.
