I'm probably missing something, but I'm new to JACK and need assistance. I'm starting a jack server using QjackCtl, so i don't get errors for MusE (sequencer). and I get this:
chmod: cannot access 'go': No such file or directory
chmod: changing permissions of '/usr/bin/minetest': Operation not permitted


Is there a typo you made somewhere? I noticed that the directory is 'usr', not 'user' (at least for me)

An application is a file. You can find out where it is located by using which application-name in terminal (use name of application you want to restrict) or by right click on .desktop file / launcher and look at properties. The command runs without any output, and I don't know where .desktop is? So...

BTW, I use Linux mint 18.3 Cinnamon 32-bit. but I haven't yet had any luck.
Isn't there like some sort of 'link file' That I can make, that just requires some line of code?
I just want to change the name of my shortcut.

And I tried it, But it did the "Creating link" thingy and it never finished it.
I am trying to make a custom link to my computer on my desktop.

Keyboard problems

Recently, My keyboard randomly stops responding After starting up from sleep mode. I can't log in, None of the keys will respond, so I have to restart. Slightly annoying.

If you are wanting to change your screen brightness, you can move your cursor over the battery icon in the panel/taskbar and use the scroll wheel to adjust your brightness.

I think the fact the 'custom' no longer appears is due to the fact that the user account had some privileges that were not part of the default administrator or standard user settings.
