Re: I can't install or configure my Nvidia driver
When you installed LMDE4 did you use the nvidia driver to boot the usb? It gives you an option in grub to boot using the nvidia driver when you boot from the live usb. It also installs the briver so on first boot it boots with the driver installed and enabled.

Re: File sharing between Linux Mint and Windows 10
Warpenator only works with another warpenator instance. In other words you can't use it directly with Windows. Alternatively you could create a linux mint virtual machine and bridge the network adapter and than try to send files via warpenator. You will also need to set up a shre between windows and...

Re: Some Flatpaks Not Using Correct Mouse Theme
Thanks I really did not think about that I thought that giving the permission was only giving to what I specified. In the mean time I am going to file reports on the flatpaks and see what happens.

Some Flatpaks Not Using Correct Mouse Theme
I have noticed that some Flatpaks like telegram and Firefox use a generic mouse pointer theme not the DMZ-White that linux mint defaults too. I am not sure if this is something that the mint team could fix or if I have to file a bug report with each Flatpak. The minty y themes work fine it is just t...

Re: Question about installing mint in dual boot configuration on laptop with SSD and HDD
I think your issue stems from your laptop having an nvme drive in it. I had an issue just today that was because the nvme was not detected as a boot device.

Re: Black Screen on Turn On, after Choosing Nvidia - Macbook Pro
I have found a solution to this issue earlier today. This got the Nvidia drivers 340.107 drivers working on my mid 2010 Macbook pro. I have not been able to get the Intel graphics working with it but the Nvidia drivers have really increased battery life. 1. Install Ubuntu in UEFI mode with the Nvidi...

Re: Black Screen on Turn On, after Choosing Nvidia - Macbook Pro
I am having the same issue with my macbook pro. Its end of life for mine and I'm trying to keep it alive with mint. Mine is a 2010 and the nouveau drivers work great but I would like the nvidia drivers to work. My Mac turns on than the white screen shows and for a brief second the white blinking lin...

Re: Mint 17 and 18 and now 19 AMD GPU drivers! Look here before doing anything!
For anyone using the latest version of Linux Mint 19 the graphics drivers that are pre installed work very well for AMD 7xxx Series cards. I have tested with a few games and they actually perform better than on windows with proprietary drivers installed. My current graphics card is the firepro m4000...
