Re: How to upgrade to Linux Mint 19.1
I'm running Cinnamon 19 and have tweaked it a lot with applets, themes and system settings. Will all those settings and tweaks still remain after upgrading to 19.1? Will there be a issue if you have several accounts?

Re: Error when trying to install Plex Media Player with Wine
Font is too small. Is there a way to modify the app to show larger text? It does not work well via OS. Also it does flickering when browsing.ajgringo619 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 10:33 pmHave you tried the Linux version? https://knapsu.eu/plex/

Re: Teamviewer not found in Software Manager
Is it me or Teamviewer can't be found in Software Manager? I usually download it from there but can't find it now. What could be the reason? In order for TeamViewer (or any other app that's not in the usually repositories) to have appeared in Software Manager, you would have had a PPA to point to i...

Re: Linux Mint 19.1 codenamed ‘Tessa’
Is there any plans to fix scaling issues on 4K monitors because the way it is now is horrible? Some apps won't scale when double the scaling. Font too small.

Re: Custom scaling
In theory any integer scaling should be possible- albeit not exposed in the GUI (probably for good reason). X server only supports integer scaling. If you are having problems with QT based apps not scaling you may need to fiddle with the QT settings module in settings Try (at your own risk!) to set...

Re: Ways to adjust display scaling?
Please read: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HiDPI I just did a couple of tests in a virtual machine. One method you could try: First, increase text scaling factor Install dconf-editor: sudo apt install dconf-editor start dconf-editor and go to: /org/cinnamon/settings-daemon/plugins/xsettings/...

Re: Custom scaling
Don't think so. You can upscale Fonts fractionally in Settings > Fonts as-well which might help (the rest of the UI should expand to accomodate upscaled fonts). Or pick a lower resolution output for the TV. Already tried that but some apps are still tiny. I need 4K on because i watch 4K mostly. If ...
