I did this command that you provided above which is wget -O - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sivel/speedtest-cli/master/speedtest.py | python and basically from this laptop it works but it does not from the computer with the SSH configured. Even if I try to do through the SSH as if I was on the o...

Re: SSH - No access to internet

My interpretation is that the OP's machine isn't able to access web pages. To find out if there is any connectivity, try pinging a known IP e.g. ping -c3 8.8.4.4 The terminal says that 100% packets were loss, Destination Host Unreachable. & if this returns timings, you could also run this: wget -O ...

Re: SSH - No access to internet

It says the port 22 is closed on my IP address.

Does it mean my SSH server is blocking it?
It said the same for the port 80 by the way.

Just followed a tutorial on the web to set up a connexion SSH on my main computer, which works, but I cannot access to internet from this computer anymore. How is it possible to check this...

Re: SSH - No access to internet

So the only one way to get the access to internet from a computer who is configured with SSH, it's via a cable Ethernet?
There is no way through the Wifi?

Hi I tried to use this Wake On Lan thing on my computer-server but actually it cannot work, looks like my internet card and the actual system shut down and does not let anything awake. Re: Resize Partition sda1 - For Dual Boot

Anyway thank you guys, I basically reinstalled the whole OS on my computer without LVM ( which was really hard, I had the "BusyBox" problem even after 10 reinstallations... had to boot the USB on EFI but say "no" to EFI Mint's installation :| but it seems to work pretty well ) Thank you for your ans...

Re: Resize Partition sda1 - For Dual Boot

I see, if there is no way to correct this LVM thing I'll have to reinstall the OS again, selection manual partitioning, and then dual boot Kali. But guys, if I do back-up my actual OS, all documents, softwares, etc (as to say, if I do a snapshot with TimeShift, put it on USB, and then restore it fro...

Re: Resize Partition sda1 - For Dual Boot

Thank you for your answer. But this method does not solve my issue, I already booted Linux Mint via USB live, also Gparted live, in order to not be logged in on the sda1. When I umount /dev/sda1, it says the sd1a is not mounted. And on GParted, deactivating it or not, does not change anything. For t...
