Is there an issue with with kde version installing grub to mint's own partition instead of the mbr? I have tried and failed to get it to work for me. I installed mint to dev/hda3 and added it to my /etc/lilo.config and ran /sbin/lilo. It added without an error. It installed and is there I can see al...

How many actually leave the DT to the default colors more than a few hours. That is the beauty of Linux you can have things the way you want. I coul...

Games written for Linux work just fine, so Linux doesn't need to get games down.

The game makers write mostly for MS then try to port the to linux, that is why they often don't perform as well, as they do in ms.

I have been using this theme for a month or so. I didn't know it was pulled from kdelook? I do like it though, I use it along with some custom icons a friend made availible. Does anyone know if the animated kick off icons work with the kmenu? They are for suse, and since it uses the suse kicker I th...

Fragadelic the new kernel that will make test 4 hopefully will fix the freezing issues. Do give it a try when it is released. I love pclos and use it as my daily DE. The small dev team has been hard at work with 2007, and yes .93 hasn't been updated. I don't know if there are any plans to continue s...

lm sensors will do that. There are plenty of applets out there. Do a Google search for gnome temperature monitor.

I almost couldn't believe what I read the other day. I would pay for good money for Linux os's that had all m...
