I am not ready to change to Mate 20 yet.
I did my updates once again recently and maybe it was the kernel update, but the menu is now back on track!

Hello! Schultz got it right. I created another user in Linux Mint, then I logged in, then tried again Firefox and the radio buttons went very smoothly like before. Is there a way to 'clean' preferences of Firefox from my main user or something like that, so I don't have to start again from a new use...
