Puddletag

Hi. I am not able to copy/paste tags. What should be a very simple process is proving impossible. Puddletag1.png Puddletag2.png I'm assuming that this is the proper method? My assumptions are bearing no fruit, however. Anyone with any know-how that can advise me how would be appreciated. Thanks.

When the program window is open right-clicking on the taskbar show a launcher when not running is not selectable. I am able to create shortcuts for the program in the app launcher without an...

Re: Flatpak

Thanks for all of the replies. Much appreciated. I originally used the command line to attempt this, and the download did indeed proceed to acquire the (runtime) dependencies. I initially thought how odd this is since I already have this program on my machine. However, it appeared to me that in exce...

Flatpak

Hello. Mint 18.3, flatpak is natively installed. Flatpak --version states I have v1.0.3 Ok.... I have a flatpakref file that I attempt to activate but will only open in a text editor. So there is no association with the file and the flatpak program. Can someone advise me on a resolution to this? Tha...

Re: Clipboard (Klipper)

Bingo, phd21 :D

I hadn't realized that the system tray settings was only accessible from the taskbar tray arrow icon.

Problem solved and thank you.

Re: Clipboard (Klipper)

Thanks for your reply. The Clipboard (Klipper) configuration has no option to disable. From what I've seen from researching this is that Plasma 5.5 did. I'm on 5.8.9 There is also no listing for this program in Startup & Shutdown in System Settings. In your signature you have listed KDE 18.3. Do you...

Re: Right click menu editing KDE 18.3

Well I've only been using Linux for about 2 weeks now and after many hours of reading I initially decided to go with 18.3 KDE. After acclimating and experimenting for a few days I thought I would then try Cinnamon. After a few hours I went back to KDE. Mint 18.3 KDE so far is rock solid. Super impre...

Re: Right click menu editing KDE 18.3

Many thanks for your assistance, thunder422 :D

One of the side effects of doing this is that there is no longer confirmation when sending files to the Trash. This is easily resolved by navigating to Control/Configure Dolphin/General/Confirmations/Moving Files Or Folders To Trash

Re: Right click menu editing KDE 18.3

 Yes, the menu link I want to remove is Delete . Although you found that link in 15 seconds, I too found many, many more on the subject as well, but all are either substantially too deep for my hacking abilities or are not applicable. The best solution lay here; https://www.linux-apps.com/conte...

My objective is to remove one of the listings (options) on the (mouse) right click menu for files.
