Re: Moving to greener pastures

Howdy from North Carolina. I have 4 systems and am using PCloud for sharing between them. I have all of my systems files and programs on an "A" drive and than save my data to a "B" drive which I share via the PCloud system, that way I have all of my data continuously updated over...

Re: No network connected

Please run the following command in your Terminal, Expand the screen fully so that the results will be as close to single lines as possible. After you have executed the command copy and paste the results in you next posting so we can see what you have as far as hardware and OS.

There are also several reliable USB external SSD drives available you may want to look at.

Texting on computer

Is there an easy way to send/receive texts on a computer. I am trying to set up a laptop for my wife (she is 83) but she is somewhat computer illiterate so it has to be simple. Right now she does a lot of texting with her phone.

Brother Printer (Resolved)

I have 4 systems, 2 desktops and 2 laptops. I print primarily from my DT1, my DT2 is setup as a WiFi system for networking and printing, my printer is on the second floor and the DT2 is on the first. I seldom print from it. I used to be able to print from DT2 without any problem but as of late I can...

Re: KMymoney curser size

Hoser Rob, I don't think I want to get out of the LM desktops just to accommodate a miniscule curser but I might try that other one if it doesn't screw up my complete screen. How can I install it and be able to switch between them?

GnuCash configuration (Resolved)

Just installed GnuCash and trying to configure it for my use. I am using a separate data drive to store all of my programs data but I can't find any place in the setup (properties or prefrences) to designate a seperate storage device. Any ideas?

Re: Slow Software Manager start (25sec.)

It used to take only a few (4 to 5 sec.) to start SM but apparently since 21.2 something has changed.
