I have not used a Seagate HDD in several years but they used to have a program on them for istallation and formating.

There are also several reliable USB external SSD drives available you may want to look at.

Is there an easy way to send/receive texts on a computer. I am trying to set up a laptop for my wife (she is 83) but she is somewhat computer illiterate so it has to be simple. Right now she does a lot of texting with her phone.

Hoser Rob, I don't think I want to get out of the LM desktops just to accommodate a miniscule curser but I might try that other one if it doesn't screw up my complete screen. How can I install it and be able to switch between them?

I am running KMymoney on LM 21.2 Cinnamon. everything is working but I would like to adjust the size of the curser, it is so miniscule. Any ideas? I tried getting help from the KDE community but none was forthcomming.

Sorry Jymm, I think I idn't make myself clear. I have my apps on the primary drive and my resulting data on a secondary one. Thanks for your input.

Just installed GnuCash and trying to configure it for my use. I am using a separate data drive to store all of my programs data but I can't find any place in the setup (properties or prefrences) to designate a seperate storage device. Any ideas?

It used to take only a few (4 to 5 sec.) to start SM but apparently since 21.2 something has changed.

Why does it take 25sec. to start Software Manager under LM 21.2 Cinnamon?
