Re: Login problem

Howdy TOMMOR2012. As previous, did you get the problem fixed? If not, do you have LM on a USB stick if so boot with that and run the following command in a terminal window:
inxi -Fxxxzr
Post the output in your next post so that we can see what your setup is.

Re: Clicked numerous Install buttons and nothing happens

Did you mean <Youtube-dl>? If so it is a command line driven program to download video programs fromYouTube and other web sites that don't have direct video connections.

Update problem (Resolved)

I just installed the latest ubuntu update (ubuntu-drivers-common 1:0.9.0-0.20.04.1) on my three computers (2 desktops, 1 laptop) and it is giving me strange activities on all three devices. It sits there and has enormous disk activity, I am missing some of my folders from my bookmarks, my MEGA cloud...

Re: Resolution change

Thanks, tried that but it is too big. When I use the 1024 x 768 (4 x 3) resolution the horizontal is fine but the vertical is too small, it is out of proportion, that is why I am trying to go to 576 vertical.

I have been using Skype for a number of years but it looks like everything is going to Zoom, Meet or Teems. Maybe it is time to switch.

Is there a control button on the laptop to switch between headphones and speakers? You show that the speaker is unavailable.

Re: Easiest way to back up TimeShift snapshots?

An SSD is the better way to backup rather than a flash drive. Amazon has external (USB) 500GB SSD 's for $80. If you set your TS up to backup to the SSD, your problem is resolved.

Re: Installing Wine on LM20 gives unmet dependencies error

OK, when I installed their package it came up with a dependency issue also but then gave me a yes/no button to install the dependencies. <sudo add-apt-repository 'deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ focal main> Then install this. <sudo apt install --install-recommends winehq-stable> If you...
