If it had broken your connectivity, the easy fix would have been simply to remove the DNS server you had just added, and change back the setting "Method" for getting addresses.

I am also having this problem. I can't fix it, but from looking up a few things for ubuntu 10.04, it seems to be a network issue...or something like that. It seems a bit risky (that is, going for the wireless). I don't think I am going to risk losing wireless completely just for the luxury of a few gained seconds not looking for ipv6 stuff.

In Gloria, I've been experiencing a weird issue with connecting to the internet. Sometimes, it'll go fine. But other times, there will be a lag in connecting to the internet -- from what I can tell, mint is looking for an ipv6 router, and it'll take it's sweet time not finding any and then timeout.....

I want to use AptonCD but my /var/cache/apt/archives folder has a blank lock file, and a folder called partial that's empty.
