Re: Help! Can't print.

Thanks for the help Brian.

Code: Select all

lpadmin -x PRINT_QUEUE_NAME

Code: Select all

lpadmin: The printer or class does not exist.
I tried deleting the others in the browser localhost but it asks for a username & password but there's no place to enter it.

Re: Help! Can't print.

After entering that set up cue it did add another option for mg6600. I was able to print when selecting it.
How do I delete the other two listings now that this one works?

I had things set up & I could print just fine. I'm not sure what happened but now I can't print anything.
If someone could help walk me through fixing this issue it would be greatly appreciated.
Let me know what info you need.

Re: Error & Invalid Argument Messages

Well, thanks for getting me off my keister to try it. I really didn't want to bring it in the same room as my computer but now that it's in here I think I'll complete all my scanning tasks the next few days, return it to the other room, then try & see if it works consistently on wifi. I won't be sca...

Re: Error & Invalid Argument Messages

Alright. Give me a bit to try that. sane-find-scanner # sane-find-scanner will now attempt to detect your scanner. If the # result is different from what you expected, first make sure your # scanner is powered up and properly connected to your computer. # No SCSI scanners found. If you expected some...

Re: Error & Invalid Argument Messages

You are correct. "May or may not" :). The following models may use the same Pixma protocol as those listed above, but have not yet been reported to work (or not). They are declared in the backend so that they get recognized and activated. Feedback in the sane-devel mailing list welcome. PIXMA E400, ...

[Solved] Error & Invalid Argument Messages

I've been using my Canon MG6620 for printing over wifi & it works pretty well. I wanted to scan some things today & tried a few different software in the software manager. I'm currently using gscan2pdf. I was able to get some scanning done at first with some annoying messages but now all I can get i...

I got this output dkms_dbversion nvidia Hey, I also was able to get there using cd /var/lib/dkms/ I was just typing /var/lib/dkms/ before. Just scratching the surface of moving around the file system with the terminal. Entering ls -l while there gave this output: total 8 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6 Aug...

Thanks for the help. I typed "remove the ppa graphics-drivers or ant packages I add using terminal" wrong. Sorry about that. [SOLVED] How Do I Remove Proprietary GPU Drivers I Just Installed?

I installed DXVK to give it a try. I used sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa. I then selected Nvidia driver 415 within Driver Manager. I tested out a game & I couldn't tell much if any difference. Now I want to go back to my previous driver 390 but all options are grayed out now except...
