Hi,
Can anyone tell me if I choose to allocate the /home partition on another hard disk that has already contain important data, will I loose it or will it find an empty space in it for the /home folder?

Unable to use Cano Scan LIDE 25

Hello,

I wonder if anyone knows or is the same situation as me where you are unable to get your scanner "Cano Scan LIDE 25" to work with the "Scanner Utility" that comes with Linux Mint 7??

Any help would be much appreciated.

The easiest way would be to set up a data partition, or a separate /home partition a close second place. The info on how to do these specific tasks is in the forums, so just use the search. How to change location of Home Folder

Hi,
I have got a separate hard disk for storing data, docs, etc. I would like to change the location of my home folder to this hard disk so whenever I save a document, etc it gets saved onto this hard disk automatically. Can someone tell me how to do it please?

Hi, I am trying to upgrade my Open Office from 3.0.1 to 3.1 following the instructions here:
