Same problem: can't login when entering the correct password

I'm having this same problem . Recently, I've installed Mint alongside Windows, and the installer gave Mint 16 Gb for the partition. So far, the only things I've done is setup Timeshift and update the 3rd party software that I installed with Mint. Now, when I try to login in, it says "-bash: cannot ...
