Hello Dan-C, with a mobile phone you don't need an extra Adapters. Re: Intel WiFi 6 AX200 & AX201 (Cyclone/Harrison Peak 2) Early-Bird Support

Hello Fraoch,

when you have installed the 5.3.0-26 kernel, this caused many problems also for videos. Try it with the 5.3.0-24.

When the Shift key doesn't work to show grub, try it with the Esc key. It can also be helpful not only to hold the key but pressing some times.

Hello sawdoctor,

if it doesn't work, I would suggest to restore a timeshift snapshot from the time before the problem appeared. Boot with your installation medium (USB/DVD) into the live system, open timeshift from the menu (your disk will be mounted), choose the snapshot and restore it.

Re: Broadcom BCM43162. Please help

Hello prasina,

you could open a new thread about that. Here are some users with good experience in solving problems with Nvidia cards. Maybe you have only installed the latest 5.3.0-26 kernel, which can cause video problems.

Re: USB Endoscope Camera

Hello Stob, Video4Linux is mentioned in your first link and that is installed on Linux. The other description are for other kinds of cameras. Let's see, if your endoscope camera uses the uvcvideo driver (I think, today the most cameras are supported by it). Run the following terminal command with pl...

Re: Vivaldi problem

Hello vineyridge, when I installed Vivaldi, I downloaded the deb-file from Vivaldi website, went into the Downloads folder (by default all downloads can be found there) and double-clicked on it. That opened the gdebi-installer and I applied the installation. Have you found Vivaldi in the menu? Click...

Re: Vivaldi problem

In order to see, if something with the first install went wrong. Instead of open it in the browser, you can open the file manager, go to Downloads folder and double-click on it. Or you use the terminal and can see the install messages.

Re: Vivaldi problem

from my previous post I would suggest, that you uninstall Vivaldi (via the menu > internet > right-click on vivaldi) and choose uninstall. This also works with other programs. And if you want a complete remove, you have to look in your personal folder under the hidden files and delete the programm r...

Re: Vivaldi problem

Then it could be, that you had an older /.config/vivaldi folder (it's a hidden folder, which you can see in nemo with Ctrl+H), that can cause the problem. I would suggest, that you uninstall Vivaldi (via the menu > internet > right-click on vivaldi), delete the personal vivaldi-folder in /home/YOURU...

Re: Vivaldi problem

Hello vineyridge,

I use Vivaldi myself with Linux Mint 19.3 and don't have such an issue. Which Vivaldi package & version and what system do you have: a 32-bit or a 64-bit?

Re: Installation issues

Hallo Larry1607, okay, when Windows is installed in BIOS legacy mode, then you have to install Linux in the same way. There is a linked site in the posted article for that: https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/debsdt1/sln151792/how-to-install-ubuntu-and-windows-vista-or-7-as-a-dual-boot-on-you...

Re: Installation issues

Hello larry1607, I don't know it the following link is helpful after all your attempts, but Dell has good descriptions for installing Ubuntu/Linux on their PC's, so it might be helpful to have a look. You can of course replace Ubuntu with Linux Mint. With LM 19.x you don't need an extra swap partiti...

Re: No wifi / Intel Wireless-AC 9462

Hello nick394, you are running an 5.3 kernel and that's normally enough for your wifi, so that I think, your problem is related to the last kernel update to version 5.3.0-26, which caused many issues for a lot of people. So I suggest, that you start your system with the previous kernel. Because you ...

Re: Broadcom BCM43162. Please help

Hello Jeremy, hello prasina,

as far as I've found out, the chance to get it working on Linux is very less:

https://linux-hardware.org/index.php?id ... -17aa-0622

Also It isn't listed on

https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/drivers/b43

and on other websites.
