Re: disappeared desktop

Dont know if he solution is similiar to this thread ... but give it a try : https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=270224 Didn't quite work unless I applied the solution incorrectly. If adding a new panel it used be that I'd right click near the screen edges and adding a panel would show as a...

Re: disappeared desktop

I had more or less the same problem yesterday. Any progress with your issue? Day before I did install whatever updates there were and it went smoothly there. I have Mint 19.2 running xfce. Yesterday, after logging in, besides my custom wallpaper removed, all my panels were missing too. Didn't have a...

Re: File System size

As the image shows, the space allocation is much better now. As I was deleting all the spare partitions, it did keep mentioning chromeOS. Re: File System size

Can't really explain why the 16 partitions. In fact, the first command suggested maybe 29 partitions. Clearly, I'm a newb. I can't really explain the drives existing in the screenshots. In a way, I suppose the solution of formatting and reinstalling everything is there though I would prefer not to

File System size

For some time my system has been telling me that I have very little available space (in the MBs). After moving some files to another drive there are now 3.7GB available. As opposed to on /dev/sda16 where I have like 29.3GB it says. Is there a way to make this other space the primary space that the s...

[SOLVED] Panel icons not visible

The application shortcuts and icons on the panels were there a few minutes ago. Now they are not for this primary user but are there for a secondary login. I can alt-tab through the open applications but I don't see a place I can go to them on the panel. The menu key and applets are very much there....
