You'd need to provide us with some better info - like what part in number 3 did you get stuck on, what's being returned to you in the form of error messages, etc.

Re: Officially removing myself from Google...

Where do you see the patient information with Google? Not sure if you read what I put. They are going around trying to take over as an IT resource for large companies, including hospitals. Their sales pitches involve storing (unlimited) company e-mail and company documents on Google's servers. I kn...

Re: Officially removing myself from Google...

Generally I have no problems if someone chooses to diversify themselves so to speak. But there are inacuracies. - All search engines track what you do. - The Gmail point is kind of the whole point to Gmail. But it does give you options that are easy to manipulate. (ever use yahoo or hotmail?) - Andr...

Re: Stopping Credit Card Fraud?

elver's got good info. - To expand - if you use Debit card to buy stuff, open a 2nd checking account that you only keep 100 or so in it, and use that card for your purchases. - You can also put fraud alerts on the major credit bureaus every 90 days to aid in prodecting against identify theft. - Revi...

Re: Google ditches Windows on security concerns

I agree the point of a business is to make money. I'm not mad at Google for trying to make a buck, and I agree that they provide a lot of great free(free as in free beer) services. What I wanted to stress is that a lot of the articles/blogs that I've read seem to gloss over the point that they are ...

The CIS guys probably will not agree on their value.

But - what certifications do you have? If none, some to think about would be A+, Net+, Security+, CCNA, MCSA(E)

LMAO! So you make a thread about some off the wall idea about Microsoft needing to coexist with thieves... I made no such thread. Stand corrected - you just agree with it. I think that most large software companies would hold a similar view in that while they will publicly denounce piracy, it is in...

Didn't say you were, didn't say you weren't. Then why did you attach your life's story after quoting 4 words from my post? The only thing you've added to this thread so far is that you used to pirate and now you don't. Ok, that's nice, really. LMAO! So you make a thread about some off the wall idea...

You may be able to see the item I originally quoted was your current occupation - heh, did you read my post beyond that one sentence? Your current occupation does tell me all I needed to know in reference to probably how your views were formed. I did read your post, and to me it seems you're giving...

Re: Would Microsoft fail if they eliminated piracy? “network

sure, but if you say why pay for something when you can get it for free. I say why argue every point when I can lump it in one wise quote. A wise quote which is completely irrelevant because I am already getting what I need for free while being legal. Did you not read the part where I sai...

Re: Why piracy isnt theft

Piracy or not.. If it wasn't meant to be (what some people call stolen), it wouldn't be so easy to reproduce and transmit digitally. Do i read Terms of Service? No. Do I feel I have rights to everything available over the internet, yes. I pay my internet bill. Do I care what anyone thinks? No. Are ...

Re: Would Microsoft fail if they eliminated piracy? “network

With a little imagination and some old fashion brain power you can get what you need for free and be legal. Did you even read my post besides that one phrase? sure, but if you say why pay for something when you can get it for free. I say why argue every point when I can lump it in one wise quote. :...
