Re: Checking for bluetooth hardware
If I assume the "no bluetooth adapters found" is an error and try to get it working what would be the next step?

Re: Checking for bluetooth hardware
Thanks. Can't see anything about bluetooth. So does that mean I definitely don't have it?
According to this page https://support.hp.com/vn-en/document/c02852909
It ought to have it, but I bought it 2nd hand a few years ago & don't know if that would have been an optional feature.

Re: Unable to finish installer [Linux Mint 201303]
Type into a console: gksudo gedit /usr/lib/live-installer/front-end/gtk_interface.py The path is incorrect & gedit isn't available so I recommend... sudo pluma /usr/lib/live-installer/frontend/gtk_interface.py That worked but i still get the Grub error so it must be another issue. error: disk x...

Re: cannot boot live CD on brand new box
Just tried one more thing... hitting F6 during boot which sounds like it is supposed to trigger compatibility mode. Still dead. Looks like either there is a solution changing something in the bios or it is impossible to boot mint on this machine. Shame cos I liked it when i installed on a friend's l...

Re: cannot boot live CD on brand new box
What is the make and model of your computer? Also, how much ram is installed? It's a locally-built PC with intel dual core 2duo processor, asus p5kpl-am motherboard, atapi CD-rom. 4G of RAM, HD 500G. Don't think it is the video card now... if I just wait, nothing happens, it doesn't proceed with th...
