If you don't specify a Swap partition, Mint (Ubuntu) will create a *small* Swapfile.
You can find out how to increase the size here:

Re: how to install a ppa0 ?
Then that PPA is out of date so remove it! The Scribus version in the Mint/Ubuntu repo is more up-to-date!

Well, if you want to install Scribus, then:
sudo apt install scribus
sudo apt install scribus

Re: Install Kontact on Mint 20.1
Yeah, my main desktop is Neon. I do appreciate it's nothing is installed by default approach (except Firefox and VLC) so I can just install stuff I need and stuff I want to play with. :D I'd really rather be running OS/2 Warp 4 again though... I booted up the Win 10 partition on my machine...

Re: Install Kontact on Mint 20.1
Also go into Thunderbird Add-Ons and look for the extension called "Provider For Google Calendar" As an aside, I also install gnome-calendar for the boss and it syncs via Mint's Online Accounts setting. sudo apt install gnome-calendar There's a reason Kubuntu ships with Thunderbird and not...

I like both Strawberry and Audacious. There's a PPA available for the latest release.

Re: Install Kontact on Mint 20.1
No, not Kontact! I'm a KDE user and I won't even go there! You'll have more problems with KMail than you have with Thunderbird! Thunderbird 68 and 78 work fine with GMail, just make sure that you have less secure apps turned on. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-and-gmail https://supp...

Re: Thunderbird 78 coming soon maybe
Only one scrollbar takes the Breeze theme. The other two are ugly! 68 has no problems.

Re: SOLVED (duh) LM20.1 Cinn Nemo scrollbar problems in Compact Mode
Yes, it's NOT the most obvious place to look! It took me ages to find it to turn it off for the boss, who was also complaining about it!

Re: Thunderbird 78 coming soon maybe
I have used Thunderbird 78 from that repo but on my KDE Neon system it was as ugly as hell, I couldn't get the scrollbars to match the Breeze theme at all! I can wait until it is available in the official Ubuntu repo. I had to go back to TB 68, little things like that really annoy me.

Re: LM20.1 Cinn Nemo scrollbar problems
Turn off overlay scrollbars by opening the settings panel, themes and it's on the third tab. You'll have to logout and back in for it to take effect.

Re: Importing NEW Thunderbird profile to older version...
I tried Thunderbird 78 and didn't like it so went back to 68 by following these instructions, but they might not work if you had already started with the newer version.

Re: Off this morning for first covid 19 vaccine jab
Well, for us it's still unclear when anyone will get the jab! It was supposed to start rolling out to the elderly and those on the front lines late Feb or early March. People 65 and over should be receiving it in April or May, I'm not quite 65 but fall into that category according to my doctor. The ...

Re: Which distro do you use as a daily driver?
I use KDE Neon on my main machine but have Linux Mint on a Mac Mini that I use as a media player. I use my ThinkPad as a testbed for different distros but right now it's also running Mint.

Re: How to upgrade to Linux Mint 20.1
The upgrade on the boss's machine went without a hitch. I also installed usrmerge as suggested. I think she might enjoy using Hypnotix!
