Re: Flickers on 2nd monitor on cinamon 19.2

Have you tried a fixed background instead of slide-show to narrow down the bug ?

Re: increase symbold and text size for one display?

More of a workaround than a solution, but depending on what application is on each of the screens, like a web browser, you can adjust the scaling in that application, as opposed to changing it globally. CTRL + and CTRL - are often the keystrokes to do so.

Firefox window edge too thin with clock widget behind it

The edges of my Firefox window are normally thick enough to grab and resize, but for some reason, when an edge overlaps my clock widget (which is behind it), the grabable edge is so thin I can't get hold of it to resize. System info: System: Host: OptiPlex-7010 Kernel: 3.16.0-38-generic x86_64 (64 b...

How to prevent unwanted window resizing ?

My windows often resize when I don't want them to. I suspect my highly sensitive mouse is clicking or double clicking when I don't intend to (I could get a less sensitive mouse, but then my fingertip gets sore). The Firefox window often resizes to fill only the top half of the screen, as if the on-s...

How to only use part of screen for desktop ?

Using an HDMI cable with my monitor, the Cinnamon Desktop extends well beyond the edges of the screen on all sides (how far depends on the screen resolution setting). I believe this to be a hardware issue, but I am hoping there is a fix in Linux Mint 17.2. (The VGA cable doesn't have this issue, but...
