Dat kan je proberen ja, in de hoop dat je reeds een Snapshot gemaakt had met Timeshift.
Boot met je installatie Stick, open Timeshift en herstel van een eerder gemaakte Snapshot op je HDD/SSD.

Assuming you use Cinnamon...
Right click on the panel... add applets/Download.... update the cache.
You'll find what you're looking for there.

Wine places its files in the .Wine Dir.
For your game I presume ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files\ \(x86\)...

To address the Backup argument... When you refer to Newbies I presume you mean ex windows users like myself? Every Electronic device can and will break in the future, knowing that every smart person makes Backups. The ability to make Backups Easily was introduced with Windows Vista That Was 14 Years...
