Your system is your system, of course. Do you have a good reason to disable it? Do you want to use that combo for something else? Like has been mentioned, it's sort of an emergency out for when your system is having problems, like Ctrl-Alt-Del. Better to learn this key combo, rather than get rid of...

Hard to say.

It dropped again now and I had to toggle Wireless.

Earlier for instance when I was not able to connect at all I run that command and the situation did not change, at least not in the short term.
