Bluetooth claims to be on, doesn't act like it's on
I'm trying to connect my Bluetooth headphones but can't seem to get Bluetooth work on my Linux machine. Bluetooth says that it is on in settings, but if I try to change my computer's name it says I need to turn on Bluetooth to change the computer's name, and the device is not discoverable by other d...

Re: how to copy files off a existing linux mint partition from a live usb
Yes my operating system is backup up, although it's from roughly a week ago and it would be nice to get some more recent files.
I tried dragging the user folder from the home folder to and I got a ton of errors because I don't have permission to access some of the folders.

how to copy files off a existing linux mint partition from a live usb
I tried to install some drivers for a program, and now my laptop won't get past the manufacturer's logo when I try to boot into Linux. I've think messed up my Linux partition and want to just copy some important files off of it before I reinstall, but I can't figure out how to get the permissions to...

[Solved] No audio through headphone jack or speakers
I recently got a new laptop, dual booted it, and then ran into a strange problem. The speakers and the headphone jack are not working. I got my Bluetooth headphones to work, but they won't work through the aux cable, nor will my wired earbuds. The Bangs & Olufsen quad speakers on my laptop also ...

Re: Minecraft: Dungeons
If you use the Minecraft Launcher on Linux, it shows Minecraft Dungeons as an option, of course, you can't play it since it's not out yet, and I believe that the launcher is the same across all the different available operating systems, but it still it wouldn't make sense to show it on Linux if you ...

Slow Wifi
I recently dual-booted my hp laptop with Windows 10 and Linux Mint Cinamon 19.2. The Windows Portion has seen no changes except for less storage but the Linux Mint could connect to wireless networks. I found a post on the forums that fixed that issue, but the wifi is now very slow (if it even connec...
