FGLRX works fine here... Your problem when the propietary drivers use the mesa drivers is quit common: To solve it do the following in terminal: sudo mkdir -p /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri sudo ln -s /usr/lib/dri/fglrx_dri.so /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri Check if your fglrx module is loaded: lsmod | grep...

I like it, you should definately package it up so I can be available to the community. The only problem is how do I do that? The emerald theme: sure I've got a copy somewhere But like I said, the theme as it looks now is only available in XML/gnomecc file (saved from the color chooser). I wouldn't ...

The background is totally ones own choice. Yes, but I think a theme should have "eye friendly" and "screen friendly" defaults, regardless of the final wallpaper a user will use. And as I said -- with the exception of that wallpaper (which is too white and too blinding for my cof...

I am trying to use one that I got off of Gnome-Look.org e.g. 49060-Scaled Black MacTru.emerald. Again, if I launch Terminal it is just a white square. Adler Sounds like an xorg.conf problem. If...

New themework

Was playing around with the gnome-color-chooser: Made a murrine GTK theme in mint green colours (based on the industrial tango theme that comes with Cassandra, modified with the gnome color chooser).
