The disk is OK according to the analysis, 609 bad sectors. I could try a fresh install of 20.1 but everything is set up now that both kids know how to log in and which icons to click so they can do their homeschooling work... I won't start messing with this system until schools open again here in NL...

Yes, this is the keyboard switch that I already talked about. It toggles the soft disabled property but not the hard disabled.
