TL-WN723N USB Wifi Adapter not working.....
Hello !! Yesterday, my lappie Wifi was broken, so i bought a new USB Wifi adapter from TP-Link Model No. TL-WN723N , but Linux Mint 14 is not recognising, it shows if i use command 'lsusb' in the terminal (as shown in image in the end).. Kindly let me know how to do so i can start using my wifi conn...

Hello can someone let me know how to reorder the list in boot up screen...
I want Linux mint in the first & Windows 7 in the last so when i want to load windows i just need to press pg down key so i can immediately select windows 7 instead of scrolling down to select it...

Hello to Every1, I have installed Linux Mint 12 from LM10 2 days back. The Problem is i can'nt see the Linux Mint screen while loading the OS & could'nt figure what is happening whether it is loading or the systems is hang, I can see the grub page & after selecting Linux Mint the screen goes...

Do we have to remove a complete line or just "quiet splash"
So should it be

I have checked the processes & all the processes shows zero %, but when i pressed to Resources to still show 50-60%.
Can you suggest some other good s/w which can show the right usage of CPU.

When i see my CPU usage in System Monitor it show around high 60 % & my machine is idle, but when i command 'top' in terminal window it shows CPU usage as 2-3%. I am confused which i is true. I have attached the screenshot of both the windows (top & system monitor). I am afraid if my idle m/...

Sorry for Delay as i was not in town.
Actually, after booting when linux is loading press space bar & then select compatibility mode & this will work, as it worked for me.

Thanks for your inputs, but actually i was able to install the prints drivers through cups & i selected my printer as SCX4200 & guess it worked.
Now my only problem is a SCANNER, how to make it work, can someone throw some light on it...

Hello Dr Hu, I had changed removed from the grub # defoptions=quiet splash to # defoptions= so i can see all verbose while booting & shut down. Below is the verbose i noticed on the screen while shutting down.. The Systems is going down for helt now ! .........[OK] * Stopping samba daemons ........
