As of Dec 10 2020 the geoclue error is showing up again. I can report that the config workarounds mentioned above still work on Mint Cinnamon 19.3 (I used Pjotr's version as I have two screens and could use the default location settings).

I decided to go with the .deb (V.3.28.5) because the Flatpak (V.3.28.5) always seemed a bit sluggish. As for the 'Compose in External Editor' option; I had to install the 'Evolution-plugins-experimental' package to get that option (it's functional). Same problem here: laptop with Chromium-based browsers that have the latest update (79.0.3945.88). The problem seems to be with Chromium 79.X though because Opera, which as not yet been updated (78.x), is running fine. Edge on Windows is also fine (because it is still on the x.58 and not x.88 build?...
