Re: KDE on linux mint 20
Why do people do this, it's literally transformed into Kubuntu 20.04 LTS. Clem and the guys don't maintain KDE anymore, so you are getting none of Mint's features. This is only good as an exercise to know how to swap DE's without formatting a hardrive. An exercise for the bored I guess. It's nice t...

Belkin N+ router- accessing usb drive
While this is pretty mundane, It occurred to me this would be of help to some, especially if presented with a puzzling password option and having only instructions for windows & mac os. A usb drive plugged into a Belkin N+ router can be accessed simply in LinuxMint with samba: In Dolphin or Naut...

Re: Google Chrome/Chromium crashes on startup
I have the same problem with Chrome, unrelated to gecko-mediaplayer. This is the error I get when it crashes: 4134:4134:344510253:ERROR:browser_main.cc(879)] GTK theme error: Theme directory scalable/animations/small/22x22 of theme Mint-KDE has no size field Segmentation fault I understand what it m...

Re: Mythbrowser (0.22)
One would have to realise that the 'M' keyboard key will give you the needed menu in mythbrowser to add a bookmark. Simply do that & add your bookmarks.

Re: Mythbrowser (0.22)
DrHu, Thanks for your help. Just to make sure we're talking about the same thing, I'm talking about Mythbrowser, the myth plugin for browsing the internet from within MythTV, not mythweb the plugin for making changes to myth via a browser. I appreciate the links, but they're are from several years a...

Mythbrowser (0.22)
Anyone have any idea how to set up the new Mythbrowser in Mythtv 0.22? Using the MythTV 0.22 from the repository. There's no documentation for the latest version anywhere, including the MythTV user manual. I get a screen in setup that says to add bookmarks using the bookmark menu, but there isn't on...

Re: Installing KDE CE on Gloria Gnome
Go into /var/lib/dpkg/info and delete everything (3 items) that had that name "mint-artwork-kde".
Try installing again. It should eliminate the error.
Cheers.

Re: Flegita/Gnome-scan - no jpeg option and partial scan
Flegita seems to just fail silently if your hardware isn't compatible.
sane, etc will do the job, but they're not pretty.
