[SOLVED] Re: Refresh rate issue
I am going to call this a win, albeit in a round about sort of way. I am excited to hear the upcoming new version addresses this. Thank to @Roblm for all the help. I'm very grateful.

Re: Refresh rate issue
In the nvidia settings app it is showing g-sync enabled. Per haps if I turn of Intel GPU in the BIOS? Quite frankly the only reason I have it set to auto or both is in case i need to boot to live usb. For some reason when Nvidia GPU only is selected in bios it will not even boot to live usb.

It does work, at least it appears to work. I just do not know why I cannot use the Nvidia settings (control panel). For example how can I ensure G-sync is actually working etc.

Re: Refresh rate issue
If I had a wish list for next version of Mint it would be to include a GUI Display settings app like other distros that you could select your individual monitor resolution and refresh rate setting and have them be persistent at reboot.

Re: Refresh rate issue
Did everything. I have option of 165hz in Nvidia settings. Problem is when I select it the second monitor DOES go to that rate (ASUS PG279Q has setting that shows rate) but at the same time my laptop screen (natively 1920x1080 144hz goes black. Then when I reboot both come back up fine but ASUS moni...
