Hi,
I've bought a 2nd hand HP CP4025 colour laser printer and I'm wanting to update the firmware.
I've connected it via the network, and it gets a valid IP address.
From what HP tell me, I need to cp the firmware file to the appropriate /dev/ device. How do I find that device path?

Me again. I'm having trouble getting this script to throttle properly with my new CPU and motherboard - Ryzen 7 3700X and a Gigabyte B550M.

I can start the service, but it will throttle down, and stay there! It doesn't want to up the CPU speed when it can.

Anyone?

Is it possible to upgrade from Mint 20 to Mint 20.1 BETA? Or am I better off waiting for the official release?

I checked in my monitor menu and couldn't find anything like "deep sleep". BUT I did do a reset. Seems to be ok now?

Running Mint for over a year now and very happy. Started with 19.2 now with 20.

So, I have a month old monitor, that sometimes won't wake up from sleep. To get it to display I have to turn it off/on. Is this a monitor issue or Mint issue?

New problem now. Audio plays through my monitor speakers. When I select different device - no sound!

Derrr. I needed to insert a disc! Okay, inserted an audio CD - Bjork for what it's worth!

Drive comes up on Disks app. Audio plays through VLC. Thanks!

but am unable to mount my new Blu ray drive, specifically, there is no /dev/sr1 dir in /dev

Can anyone offer help? I'm really going to use the drive to rip songs off my old CDs. Would VLC do that?
