Are they the same across distros? I noticed in the terminal preferences you can change colour palettes? It seems t...

Since it states
Files with SUID enabled are also easily distinguishable
maybe it's referring to the red color of a file with the suid set :?
I think this must be it. I did not realise files with SUID permissions were red.

Thank you. I will mark as solved.

Re: Switching the thumb buttons on my mouse are reversed.

The thumb buttons on my mouse used for going back and forth when browsing are reversed compared to when I used them on Windows (Forward goes back, back goes forward). So I want to switch them around. In Preferences > Mouse and Touchpad > Mouse, does changing the scrolling direction help? Hi, Unfort...

Re: Installing Browser Extensions from the Software Manager

Ah if it's out of date that probably explains it not working. I understood software managers to be there to keep your software up to date, if new versions aren't being made available surely it should be removed? From what I've read I should always be looking in the software manager for applications ...

Hi Karl, Thank you for Replying, So as I understand it, the Main will be downloading updates from Linux Mint and the Base will be downloading updates from Ubuntu? [Solved] Software Sources - tricia and bionic?

In Software Sources there is main (tricia) and base (bionic). What is the difference between these two? Also why are they called tricia and bionic?

In regards to the actual mirrors I've just chosen the fastest ones, is this okay? I assume all the mirrors are safe and secure.

Thank you.
