Hi, comrades of translator I also usually translate. I have monitored the LaunchPad page textual additions using the web update checking service daily. But beyond Can I identify which new source text is new in LaunchPad? In LaunchPad I can't distinguish between existing untranslated and new text. gr...

Re: I want to know the deadline for translation for 20.04LTS based Mint Cinnamon.

https://github.com/linuxmint/cinnamon-translations/commits/master Translations are synced on the day of release of any new Cinnamon version. You can note from the commit history that for Cinnamon 4.4.x the first 4.4.x tagged release was towards the end of November which was about a week before the ...

Just hit Ctrl-H to toggle visibility of hidden files. Whichever view it's on will be remembered next time you invoke the save as or open as dialog.
The settings are independent of nemo as nemo doesn't provide these dialogs.
One-shot solution.
You are amazing.
Thank you.

Re: I want to know the deadline for translation for 20.04LTS based Mint Cinnamon.

New translations are pulled and updated pretty much right up the the release of Mint. And sometimes can even happen after if there is a good reason. Thank you comment. New app "Warpinator" which will be installed on LN20 has been listed on LaunchPad translation page. I expect it to be exactly what ...

Re: I want to know the deadline for translation for 20.04LTS based Mint Cinnamon.

Thank you for your reply. The day will come when the translations entered in LanchPad for the Linux Mint packages will be siphoned by the Project team. That should be reflected in the LM20. Knowing when it will be the driving force for me to help with translation. For example, "2 weeks before the re...

Re: About the keyring used in Firefox

Let me first expand a bit by clarifying that "but [passwords] of course aren't [encrypted locally] if you're not [using a master password]" is not in fact fully correct. They are encrypted also locally even without a master password, but are trivially decrypted by anyone with access to your Firefox...

Re: About the keyring used in Firefox

Please tell me about the keyring used in Firefox. There is none. Firefox uses its own password store. Until recently a very basic one, nowadays Lockwise. No, not the GNOME keyring. If you set a master password then your passwords are encrypted locally with said master password but of course aren't ...

About the keyring used in Firefox

Please tell me about the keyring used in Firefox. 1. Why doesn't Firefox preinstalled warn me to set a keyring password like Chromium does? 2. Is Firefox not using the gnome keyring? 3. Is my password stored in the pre-installed Firefox or the password stored in the cookie encrypted? 19.3 Cinnamon T...

I am a Linux newbie whose English is not my native language I'm sorry I always have questions. My dad does not run the Linux Mint update when using his computer.
