Thank your response.
Have not you come across the precautions that IME were on are unintentionally turned off on FF99?

Re: Firefox 99 and Input Method Engine
I haven't solved it yet. I ask those who use the input method. Is there the same phenomenon? On Linux Mint (X11) Immediately after copying and pasting into the text input field of FF99 from another application Fcitx-Mozc indicator ① From "Fcitx-Mozc" ② "No input window". CTRL+Spa...

A beep sounds with Xed of LMDE5.
Hi
A beep sounds with Xed of LMDE5.
If it sounds, for some reason a dummy like the attached image appears in the sound settings.
Why?
Is there a setting to prevent the beep sounds?

Re: Is this the LMDE5 kernel now in the midst of Dirty Pipe risk?
Hi
That the package number and the kernel number are different,
I did not know that.
I learned a lot.
Your point is always accurate to me.
Thank you.

Re: Is Linux-firmware a total replacement update including additional parts every time?
Shield mark means security update and ↑ means software update. That's something you have to decide when you disable update for a package. If you disable update for a package, it simply won't update. Or you can disable update for specific version of package. It will be available for update when anot...

If anyone knows, please also tell me the following.
Is automatic blocking like the one below possible?
・ Linux-firmware and security update (shield mark) → Displayed in the list
・ Linux-firmware and function addition update (↑ mark) → Hide in list

Re: Is Linux-firmware a total replacement update including additional parts every time?
Thank you for the information.
The reason why I want to skip it is
・My HW doesn't have any problems at the moment
・Not a security update
・Large size 100MB ~
・The upgrade process is heavy
・It doesn't come with LMDE

Thank you for your reaction.
My HW doesn't have any problems at the moment, so I'll try to reduce the number of updates.

The straightforwardness of your point is wonderful.
I finally realized that I only had to wait for the 5.4 update.
