So Libre Calc bases the desktop icon width on the presumed width of the print range area.

That is a bit surprising - even to me. I did not expect that.

I turn off thumbnails as a default after every new installation, and also select List view in Preferences. So I don't see this stuff.

A side issue is your root partition is way too full:

Can you give us some history on this? It used to boot fine, but then . . .
Or this is a brand new install of what?

If it is a new drive you might want to put a GPT partition on it, and then format the rest of it EXT4. What are your plans with this drive?

I suggest you start your own topic and post the inxi output requested above.

After the latest upgrade I have the same issue.

One option is to Timeshift back and figure out what update breaks suspend. Then don't apply that update for a while.
